Satellite Tracking
GMC understands the importance of keeping customers informed of the progress of their consignments and to meet this need have invested in the latest technology to offer:

• Real Time Vehicle Location
  indicates the location and status of a vehicle; stationary, moving, speed, direction to enable the control room to track arrival times.
• Historic Data
  provision of arrival and departure times at locations to verify P.o.D (proof of delivery) times. This data also confirms the route taken including stop/starts to reach the point of delivery.

GMC is a preferred service provider to leading manufacturers which supply high value products to a number of blue chip companies.

GMC can offer these customers the following secure services in the UK and Europe:

• Escorted Vehicles
  unmarked second vehicle escort with a communication link between both drivers and the GMC monitoring station.
• Double Manning
  ensures the vehicle is never unattended during the journey even in the event of statutory stops
• Journey Monitoring
  the latest hardware is installed into selected vehicles to allow vehicle monitoring throughout the duration of the journey and to ensure strict procedures are fulfilled. If necessary, the GMC control room is able to immobilise the vehicle and alert the relevant authorities of its precise location.
